Argus Automation provides remote monitoring and, where enabled, remote control of VFD-driven oil-well pumps: a pre-configured hardware kit installed at the wellsite and a cloud platform accessed through the browser. Each deployment is governed by an individually signed agreement; this page describes the general shape of the relationship.
The hardware kit is purchased per pad and belongs to the customer once delivered. Platform access is a recurring per-well subscription. If a subscription ends, wellsite equipment keeps operating on its local setpoints. You lose the remote view, not the production.
Argus is a monitoring and control aid. It does not replace the operator's own safety procedures, site supervision or regulatory obligations. The customer remains responsible for site safety, for providing power and an internet uplink, and for ensuring equipment placement meets the site's classification requirements (standard enclosures are intended for suitable unclassified locations).
Support is provided directly by the Argus engineering team. The cloud side of the system, alarms, link health and storage, is monitored by us.
Limitation of liability, hardware warranty terms and governing law are set out in the signed deployment agreement for each customer. Request a copy of the standard agreement at info@argusautomation.tech.
Questions about these terms go to info@argusautomation.tech.
