Power and an internet uplink. Starlink or cellular both work. Argus connects outbound through a private encrypted mesh, so it runs behind Starlink and carrier-grade NAT with no server, no static IP and no port forwarding.
Both. You can start, stop and set pump speed remotely. Every command needs confirmation, respects user roles, and a site-wide safe-boot lock can force read-only.
Argus talks to the drive over Modbus, not to the pump, so any artificial lift running on a Modbus-capable VFD is a candidate. Invertek Optidrive P2 is running in the field today; WEG and Invertek E3 maps are built and ready to commission. The standard cabinet is a NEMA 3R weatherproof enclosure for unclassified locations. NEMA 3R itself is not a hazardous-area approval. If your site has classified zones, placement and requirements are assessed per the site classification and local regulations during the compatibility check.
